David Loyer

Outside work, I'm a tech addict with a soft spot for French/Brazil touch electronic music, craft beer (IPA, mostly), and sports. I travel as often as I can, and Ireland, France, Portugal and Brazil are the places I keep coming back to.

At Webiwant, I founded the agency and still spend most of my time where SEO is actually moving: technical foundations, local search, and now AI search, where people ask ChatGPT or Google's AI a question instead of scrolling through ten blue links. Getting clients visible in both places is the job today.

I also build my own tools. If something is repetitive, I'll automate it rather than repeat it, which is how a lot of our reporting and monitoring ended up running by itself. And I try to keep the humour and the balance in there too, work included.

Gaël is Co-Owner and SEO Strategist at Webiwant, driving strategies that improve business visibility across Google, local search and AI-driven search experiences.

With extensive experience in SEO, content strategy and digital marketing, he works across technical SEO, local SEO, content optimisation, GEO and AI search visibility, with a strong focus on turning organic visibility into measurable business growth.

Gaël also specialises in digital accreditation and Open Badges , developing digital credential strategies that enable organisations to recognise and showcase skills and achievements.

Offline, I enjoy exploring the contemporary art scene and diving into techno parties.

At Webiwant, I bring over a decade of expertise in digital marketing and strategy across multiple sectors. My role as a Digital Strategist focuses on combining content creation with a deep understanding of audience behavior on search engines, ensuring every strategy aligns with how people discover and engage online.
